Osh is located towards the south of Kyrgyzstan. It is the 2nd largest and the oldest city in the country. The total population of the region is about 2.8 lakh. The city of Osh experiences a continental climate, with hot, dry summers and cold winters. The temperature will drop below zero degrees C in the months of December-February. There will be snowfall during this period. The months of May-November are warm months. Osh is about 600 km away from the capital city of Bishkek.
