Medical Academy is an MCI and WHO recognised medical college located in
Shymkent, Kazakhstan. It is also recognized by the Ministry of Education and
Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The college was founded in 1979. Even
though it is an old college, Indian students are yet to pass out from here as
per College wise MCI Screening Test result 2012-18. The reason for
this is that the Faculty of Medicine of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy was
established in 2012.
The Faculty of Medicine is among a total of 5 faculties at South
Kazakhstan Medical Academy. After completion of the MBBS course, the name of
the degree which the students will get is MD. This degree is equivalent
to MBBS in India. MBBS in Kazakhstan course duration is 5
years and the entire course will be taught in the English language. You are
required to learn the local language. For this, the college will give you
classes from the 1st year itself. The main reason to select South Kazakhstan

Shymkent
is a city in South Kazakhstan where South Kazakhstan Medical Academy is
situated. It is the third most populated city in Kazakhstan with estimated population
of 10 lakh.One of the biggest advantages that SKMA has over other universities
is that Shymkent is not as cold as Almaty or Astana. This makes it easier for
the students to adjust here. Shymkent experiences hot, dry summers and cold
winters. Winters here are warmer thanmost of the northern cities like Almaty.

Kazakhstan Medical Academy Admission
The sessions starts in September-October every
year and the best time to apply for admission is June-July. University
generally starts to issue the admission letters in the month of June. Students
from all over India can apply through J S global as the entire admission
process is online . For admission letter, a scanned copy the following documents
are required:

admission letter issued and send it to you. After this, we will provide you
with a list of original documents which are required for visa. You will send

the completion of all the processes in India, you will travel for MBBS in
Kazakhstan and start your studies there.
